Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our urgent care team. The EMT will assist providers and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring an efficient and welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

  •  Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical histories
  •  Prepare patients for examination and treatment 
  •  Assist providers with procedures, wound care, and splinting
  •  Perform EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as directed 
  •  Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medical equipment 
  •  Support front office tasks when needed, including patient intake 
  •  Ensure proper documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system 
  •  Follow clinic protocols for infection control and patient safety 
  •  Provide excellent customer service to all patients 
Qualifications

  • Active EMT certification in California 
  •  Current BLS certification
  •  Urgent care or emergency department experience preferred 
  •  Strong communication and patient care skills 
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  •  Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
