Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Urgent Care
Schedule: Full-time: includes occasional Saturdays; floating between two clinic locations

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our urgent care team. This role requires flexibility, as the CMA will provide support across two office locations and assist with occasional Saturday coverage. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories accurately
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, wound care, and specimen collection
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment
• Manage patient flow to maintain efficient clinic operations
• Perform front-office duties as needed, including check-in/check-out and answering phones
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
• Travel between two office locations as scheduled

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience, preferably in urgent care or a fast-paced setting
• Proficiency with Epic. 
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to adapt to varying workflows and environments
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations
