Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist / Scheduler to be the first point of contact at our Abilene clinic. This role is essential in creating a smooth, welcoming, and efficient experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and a welcoming attitude
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls efficiently and accurately
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
  • Maintain and update calendars for providers and clinic staff
  • Coordinate daily scheduling needs and resolve conflicts as they arise
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail, email, and general correspondence
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
  • Assist with data entry and general administrative support
  • Partner with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or scheduling role preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scheduling systems
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
