In this dynamic role, you'll perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures using your independent judgment and technical expertise to help diagnose and treat patients. You'll work closely with patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort, explaining procedures clearly, and providing compassionate care throughout every step. This position involves collaborating with physicians and clerical staff, maintaining detailed records, ensuring proper patient consent, and producing high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation. With a strong emphasis on patient safety, privacy, and communication, you’ll play a critical part in the care journey at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center. Purpose & Scope:
Will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves for diagnosis of disease.
Education:
An associate degree in radiological procedure is required.
Experience:
One year of sonography experience is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.
Pay & Benefits: Commensurate with experience. Team members are eligible to receive benefits on the first day of the month following the date of hire, with 30 days to apply for benefits of choice.
