Job DetailsJob Location: 7500 - Skokie, IL 60077Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $19.00 - $19.00 HourlyJob Shift: Third ShiftJob Category: ManufacturingSUMMARY  Maintenance Clerk must effective communicator.  Must be fast thinker and be able to multi-task. Will be required to keep storeroom cleaned and organized. Must maintain accuracy of inventoried parts in Maintimizer.   PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES  Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with the authority to initiate action  Create and close work orders in a timely manner by filling in times and details (Labor hours, parts used and breakdown notes)  Maintain accuracy of inventoried parts in Maintimizer  Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external personnel (suppliers)  Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers including manufacturing associates, other support department associates and management  Call or meet with vendors when needed as directed by management for parts and/or service  Run reports when requested  Creates purchase orders for maintenance parts / supplies, QA supplies, crib supplies / chemicals, sanitation supplies, production supplies  Document all packing slips and turn them into accounts payable  Confirm that all parts are received and close purchase orders in Maintimizer  Sends out parts to be refurbished when requested  Picks up emergency parts from local vendors when requested  All other duties as assigned by department management  When needed cover for team members with issuing supplies, copies, tools, keys, etc (Weekends, vacations etc)  Restock production forms and submit purchase orders if supplies are needed  Complete physical inventory’s as requested  Put away supplies in stock room or crib  Assign tools from Tool Room, and document within Maintimizer  Communicate schedule changes / additions / cancellations etc. with temporary agency’s on site representative and affected departments.        QualificationsNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS     Must be proficient in Excel and Word   Must have basic understanding of mechanical language  Must have excellent communication skills (verbal, written)  Must be able to work in a high-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively  Ability to work overtime and most weekends  Detail oriented and proficient with filing paperwork for to be “Audit Ready”    PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS    Standing on a concrete floor  Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, earplugs, safety shoes, and uniform)  Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs  Required to work weekends during peak season  Required to work mandatory overtime when needed
