About the Role:Join the dedicated team at Northbridge Child Development Center as an Infant Teacher, where you will nurture and support the earliest stages of child development. Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and education for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months.
  • Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive and social development.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Observe and assess each child's development and communicate progress to parents.
  • Collaborate with a team of educators to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Engage with parents through regular updates and open communication.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of all children.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with infants in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
  • Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
