The Opportunity: We are seeking a full time Mortgage Closing Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for preparing and delivering closing disclosures (CD’s) by coordinating with internal partners and third-party services. Provide support for various functions required within the department and ensure that actions taken are in accordance with all local, state, federal, and investor requirements.  

What You’ll Do: 

  • Review loans tasked for Closing Disclosure preparation for completeness and accuracy of data.   
  • Prepare preliminary Closing Disclosure at prescribed process point.  
  • Deliver the Closing Disclosure to members, meeting all timing requirements.  
  • Update loan tasks and any status to ensure timely progression of the loan to meet defined service level agreements.  
  • Upload documentation received into the Loan Origination system as necessary.
  • Complete a final verification of employment prior to loan closing to meet agency requirements.
  • Assist with departmental tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with loan officers and loan processors to ensure a smooth loan process and positive member experience.
  • Achieve performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined by the management team.

What You’ll Need: 

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Mortgage lending experience preferred.
  • Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.   
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.   
  • Able to initiate and embrace change.   
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and ability to work in a team environment.
