Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
High Point Residence – Fox Valley
Aurora, IL

Every other weekend availability required


About the Role
High Point Residence Fox Valley is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, person-centered care while supporting the dignity, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. You will work collaboratively with our nursing and wellness teams to ensure each resident receives individualized care aligned with their care plan.


Key Responsibilities
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support residents during mealtimes and assist with feeding as needed
• Take and accurately record vital signs
• Safely transfer, reposition, and assist residents with mobility
• Observe and report any changes in resident condition or concerns to the nursing team
• Respond promptly and courteously to call lights and resident requests
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
• Change bed linens, restock supplies, and assist with general housekeeping tasks
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Wellness Director or nursing supervisor


Qualifications
• Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Preferred:
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or memory care
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
