Job Title:                                Electrical Apprentice

ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT:  Electrical

SUPERVISOR:                        Electrical Director

FLSA:                                       Hourly/Non Exempt

SALARY RANGE:                   $12.00 to $19.00 hour

 ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS:     In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.  

 JOB SUMMARY: Performing electrical duties as directed by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Figure and calculate electrical load on all types of motors, lights and machines

· Climbing of ladders

· Perform general electrical duties both new and remedial

· Repairing and replacing old electrical materials

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform other duties and projects as required by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • Must have H.S. diploma or GED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position may include any or all of the following: Much of the work is performed in inclement weather and during all seasons. Some work is performed in confined areas, on slick and wet surfaces. Employees are exposed to vibrations, loud continuous noise, offensive smells, dust, dirt and water. Exposed to injury from moving equipment, insect bites, poisonous plants, flying objects, slippery surfaces and hazardous materials. Must have strength to pull, lift, and/or push 50 pounds on a frequent basis. Flexibility to bend, twist, and reach. Mobility to climb, crawl and walk. Dexterity to operate machinery and tools on uneven surfaces and stamina to exert self throughout the day in all weather conditions
