Job Description
Nestled on the Central California Coast, Adventist Health Sierra Vista has been providing care to our community since 1959. Our 162-bed acute care facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county designated trauma center. Job Summary:
Orients to the planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients on the medical/ surgical unit. This position orentates to the care of age-related physiological, emotional and cognitive needs of the following age groups of patients: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Includes, but not limited to: Care planning, vital signs, medication dosages, physiological changes, and psychosocial needs. Orients to the supervising and delegating of care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice. This position is represented by CNA.
