Job Description:

The HR Intern position at AAON offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Interns will support various business functions by assisting with projects, conducting research, and contributing to process improvements. This role is designed to provide exposure to real-world business operations while developing professional skills and industry knowledge. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and participate in team-based initiatives that align with AAON’s strategic goals.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborates with HR professionals to support people-related initiatives across the organization.
  • Assists in the development and execution of human resources initiatives to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Participates in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning.
  • Conducts research and analysis on best practices related to Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and HR Information Systems.
  • Gathers feedback from stakeholders and contributes ideas for process improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university.
  • Must have completed sophomore year at a four-year institution and pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Business.

Work Environment:

The HR Intern will primarily work in an office setting, with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas depending on the department. The environment is collaborative, professional, and focused on learning and development. Interns may be required to attend meetings, presentations, and training sessions throughout the internship period.
