This intern position supports the Southwest Region functions, including claims, sales, and underwriting while receiving work experience in a dynamic environment within one of the top US regional Workers’ Compensation management groups. Summit Consulting LLC, headquartered in Lakeland, FL, is a super-regional Workers’ Compensation insurance management company operating in fifteen states throughout the Southeast and Southwest United States.

This intern role includes working with Summit’s Human Resources team to:

• Support office in daily tasks

• Communicate effectively with employees in support of department initiatives.

• Handle special projects, as assigned

Desired qualities:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree

• Prefer a junior or senior

• Applicants must be able to work independently and maintain confidentiality

• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
