At Gracent Pediatric Therapy, we’re seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. You’ll provide personalized, in-clinic therapy through evaluations and individualized treatment plans designed to meet each child’s unique needs, including assessment and treatment for pediatric feeding and swallowing challenges. Requirements:

• You are eager to grow your skills in high-demand clinical areas such as AAC, feeding, and childhood apraxia of speech.
• You do your best work surrounded by a supportive and diverse team of child specialists.
• You have a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an Illinois state license in good standing.
• You have prior experience conducting assessments to identify the strengths and needs of each client.

• Experience or strong clinical interest in pediatric feeding and swallowing is preferred.

Your role as a Speech-Language Pathologist

As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, BCBAs, Mental Health Practitioners, and Neuropsychologists. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose communication and feeding disorders
• Make appropriate cross-referrals to other disciplines
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each client
• Provide evidence-based therapy to support speech, language, social communication, and pediatric feeding/swallowing development.
• Educate families, staff, and the community on AAC and other communication supports
• Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists for coordinated care
• Keep detailed records of progress and adjust plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers to support safe feeding plans and whole-child development
