Job Description
Description
The Corrections Facility On Site will be responsible for overseeing commissary operations, maintaining and monitoring commissary hubs, addressing inmate grievances, troubleshooting and repairing hardware issues, and checking each tablet at the Houston County facility.
Requirements
Working Hours:
Monday: 8:00AM-5:00PM
Tuesday: 8:00AM-5:00PM
Wednesday: 8:00AM-5:00PM
Thursday: 8:00AM-5:00PM
Friday: 8:00AM-5:00PM
Key Responsibilities:
· Commissary Management: Oversee the commissary process, including inventory management, order processing, and distribution of commissary items to inmates.
· Inmate Grievances: Address and resolve grievances related to commissary services, ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures.
· Hardware Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair hardware issues related to commissary equipment and inmate tablets.
· Facility Meetings: If requested by the facility, attend administration meetings as a representative of Kimble's, providing updates and feedback on commissary and hub operations.
· Tablet Checks: Regularly check and maintain inmate tablets to ensure functionality and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
· Experience in corrections, commissary management, or related field preferred.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware issues.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
· Manual dexterity to handle and repair hardware.
