We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the welcoming face of our Santa Barbara clinic. This is a front desk–focused role that plays a critical part in shaping the patient experience, with light hands-on support assisting with patient rooming and exam room turnover. Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Experience (Primary Focus)

• Greet patients warmly and create a positive, reassuring first impression.
• Check patients in and out efficiently and professionally.
• Schedule, coordinate, and confirm appointments.
• Answer phones, return messages, and provide clear information to patients.
• Verify insurance, collect payments, and assist with basic billing support.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

Clinic Support (Light Duties)

• Escort and room patients as needed to support clinic flow.
• Assist with exam room turnover between patient visits.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure an efficient, seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• Medical front desk, administrative, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Calm, professional, and compassionate demeanor.
• EMR/EHR experience is a plus.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to assist where needed.
