Role:

The primary focus is to ensure product is being assembled to specifications and meeting all safety, quality, and productivity requirements. Quality Inspector team member at Triton will perform their duties in a manner that is representative of the Triton Way.

Performs in-process inspections and final inspections on machined products utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments.
Effectively communicates with peers and interdepartmental personnel maintaining a cohesive team environment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
Dependability
Positive Attitude
Self-motivated
Willingness to help fellow team members achieve production goals

Experience Preferred, but not required:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Use calipers, protractors, and a tape measure.
Computer Skills and Microsoft Excel experience - Intermediate skill level
Quality experience preferred, but not mandatory.

It’s been nearly 40 years since John and Terri Freudenberger first caught the entrepreneurial fire and opened a machining business called Industrial Steering Products. Its specialty: Manufactured steering components. Our company began to evolve and shifted our focus from machining to fabricating. We outgrew several facilities over the years, and in 2010, we were thrilled to settle into a newly-renovated 93,000-square-foot facility in Hamilton, Indiana. That same year, we started a new chapter with the opening of Triton Metal Products. We continue to run Industrial Steering Products to serve our steering component customers. Today, Triton Metal Products has become a thriving family enterprise that serves a growing list of clients representing a spectrum of industries. We could talk all day about the many aspects of Triton and how hard we've worked to do it right, but we'd rather explain the why behind it all.
