Capital Markets Development Program Associate

Program Overview:

Are you ready to build a career in Capital Markets? FNB’s Capital Markets Development Program is a 12-month rotational experience designed for ambitious, entry-level professionals eager to gain hands-on exposure across multiple business lines—including interest rate and commodity derivatives, syndications, debt capital markets, and public finance.

This program offers a structured curriculum focused on developing a strong foundation in credit analysis, market strategy, and client engagement. Associates will rotate within their assigned business line, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Capital Markets landscape while building the skills needed for long-term success. You’ll also receive specialized training and mentorship to support your growth and career advancement.

FNB’s Development Programs aim to equip Associates with the skills and experience necessary for a successful transition into integral positions within one of our teams.

Your Role:

Engage in Rotational Learning and Gain Business Exposure

As a Development Program participant, you will gain hands-on experience across Capital Markets functions such as derivatives, syndications, and public finance. You'll also collaborate across teams and build a strong foundation in financial services.

Develop Credit and Analytical Expertise

You will have the opportunity to participate in formal credit training and apply analytical skills to assess market pricing, credit risk, and borrower creditworthiness. In this role you will also prepare underwriting documentation and support strategic decision-making.

Refine Key Communication and Presentation Skills

During the rotational experiences, you will strengthen your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly through presentations, meetings, and written reports. Also, you will engage with internal teams and clients effectively.

Leverage Teamwork and Collaboration Abilities

Our Development Program will enable you to work closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals. Associates improve their ability to embrace feedback, contribute ideas, and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Drive Business Growth Through Sales, Service and Strategy

You will take ownership of your work, meet deadlines, and adapt to change. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality outcomes while exploring innovative solutions.
