Qualifications

You have a 2-year degree or equivalent field experience in an estimating role, or a High School Diploma/GED with a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe, with strong computerized skills, ideally in Sampro. You also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

    ConServ Building Services was founded in 1991, as the service division of BCH Mechanical. We began dispatching HVAC techs in the Tampa Bay, FL area and in just a short time, ConServ’s reputation for customer service and technical expertise began to grow in GA, SC, NC, VA, TN, MS and AL. We are the number one choice for regional clients with multiple accounts, convenience stores, and those who prefer remote monitoring and control.     What you will be doing: 
  • Responsible for determining competitive and accurate estimates to achieve margin and financial targets.
  • Organizes and manages centralized cost estimating models to ensure current and strategic pricing data is used during proposal development.
  • Works closely with Lead Service Estimator to determine budgeting and strategic goals for estimating activities and business development opportunities.
  • Interfaces with service technicians to insure that projects are delivered per estimates and consistently refining the estimating formulas -Process electronic work requests and submit proposals for work found on service calls to all accounts unless it is a Key Account handled by others.
  • Call vendors for pricing and availability on parts for service/repair estimates.
  • Field customer calls requesting service or maintenance work and providing or arranging any necessary follow-up calls.
  • Develop a good working relationship with field supervisors and technicians, learning their abilities and skill levels.
  • Deliver and maintain the highest level of Customer Service -Other tasks as assigned.
  What you need for this position: 
  • Required (2) year degree or equivalent field experience (willing to train)
  • High School Diploma or GED (BS Degree in related field preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Strong computerized skills - preference for Sampro
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to learn and be a part of a team
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Perform additional assignments per manager’s direction
  • Able to pass a Drug Test and a Background check
