Expected pay for this position is $38.75 - $45.59/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
The incumbent will be required to follow a hybrid work schedule, working in the office three days per week. Tuesday and Thursday are designated in-office days, with the third in-office day of their choosing. The remaining two days each week may be worked remotely. Please note that this hybrid arrangement is subject to change based on business needs.
POSITION SUMMARY: As a Data Engineer I, you will contribute to the design, development, and upkeep of scalable data pipelines and systems. Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and key stakeholders, you will help ensure data accessibility, integrity, and security to support organizational needs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Recent internship or project experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
Licensure/ Certification: Epic training is required within 90 days of employment and certification within 6 months of employment. Certification may need to be maintained as new version training is released.
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data issues. Basic understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data management principles. Basic proficiency in SQL and other database query languages. Basic knowledge of data visualization tools. Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience with cloud platforms for data storage and management.
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Familiarity with big data processing frameworks and ETL tools.
