Job Description

We are looking for a Parts Coordinator to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex Parts Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the organization, condition, and accuracy of maintenance spare parts inventory and production tooling, while coordinating daily with internal customers such as maintenance and production. This role is a key member of our Operations team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards
  • Maintain the organization, condition, and accuracy of maintenance spare parts inventory and production tooling
  • Accurately manage the disposition of spare parts entering and leaving the storeroom
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented and reported
  • Maintain and update inventory records, including the master parts list
  • Investigate discrepancies and follow through with corrective actions
  • Perform cycle counts (daily/monthly) and apply inventory management practices such as FIFO
  • Execute inventory transactions within J.D. Edwards, including receiving and movement of materials
  • Ensure accuracy and care when receiving, storing, and handling materials both physically and electronically
  • Identify, report, and resolve inventory or receiving-related issues proactively
  • Coordinate daily with maintenance and production teams to ensure parts availability and operational efficiency
  • Communicate information across departments and support internal customer needs
  • Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • 1 year of maintenance, mechanical, or spare parts inventory experience is highly preferred
  • Must be will and able to get forklift certified
  • Must be approved to drive the company truck
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize MS Office programs such as, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn and use J.D. Edwards to process inventory transactions
  • Familiarization of the master parts list and its sub-components
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and carry out detailed written instruction
  • Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance
  • Ability to follow all Trex health and safety standards
  • Utilize individual skills, training and abilities in order to maintain the highest standards of job performance and professional conduct
