About the Role:Join the VALLEY DREAM HOUSING CO INC team as a Maintenance/Porter and play a vital role in maintaining our properties in Valley Stream, NY. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your skills will directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs in residential properties.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and other outdoor maintenance duties.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to enhance resident satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
