Attalon’s Murrieta site specializes in advanced optical manufacturing for critical aerospace and defense programs. Our team produces high-performance optical components and coatings that enable precision targeting and durability in the harshest environments. From missile guidance optics to thermal protection solutions, Murrieta plays a vital role in delivering technologies that give the warfighter a decisive edge.
We are seeking a Diamond Turning Technician I for 3rd Shift to join our precision machining team. Under general supervision, you will operate and maintain diamond turning machines, perform part inspections, and ensure compliance with strict optical and mechanical specifications. This role is critical to supporting production ramps for a key missile program and expanding capacity on existing and new equipment.
For California, the hourly pay range for this role is $16.07-$27.28 (plus shift premium)

All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow site EHS procedures and Corporate EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by job responsibilities.
Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed, proper training and work instructions are provided, required PPE is available, and compliance is monitored.
Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
