Job DetailsJob Location: Edgewood Place - Rock Hill , SC 29730Position Type: InternshipTravel Percentage: NoneProperty Management Intern   Work Type: Full time Location: Rock Hill, SC Duration: 10 weeks Compensation: Paid     Company Description: Fitch Irick Corporation, based in Charlotte, NC has over 30 years of experience in the affordable housing development and property management field.  Fitch Irick is knowledgeable in the complexity of regulations with Rural Development, HUD, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Programs.  Fitch Irick currently manages 12,000+ units in 250 properties throughout the southeastern United States with multiple layers of programs and funding sources designed to better communities by providing quality affordable housing to residents in need.   Fitch Irick Corporation is seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Property Management Intern – Lease-Up to join our Summer Internship Program for an immersive 8-week experience within multifamily property operations and leasing. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the fast-paced environment of a new development lease-up, where interns will gain experience supporting leasing activity, resident engagement, marketing initiatives, and daily property operations. Interns will work alongside experienced property management professionals while learning how successful communities are launched, stabilized, and managed. This is more than an internship—it’s an opportunity to gain real-world experience in property management and contribute to the successful growth and occupancy of a community. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN & SUPPORT   Support leasing and marketing efforts for vacant and upcoming apartment homes Professionally greet prospective residents, guests, and vendors Assist with answering incoming calls and responding to leasing inquiries Learn leasing processes including tours, applications, and resident follow-up Support resident engagement activities and community events Assist with administrative functions including resident records and office organization Help maintain accurate leasing and traffic reports Gain exposure to lease-up strategy, occupancy goals, and resident retention initiatives Collaborate with onsite teams to support operational and leasing objectives Learn Fair Housing practices and property management compliance standards Partner with maintenance and onsite teams to support community standards   WHAT YOU BRING| THE PERSON Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude with a willingness to learn Interest in property management, real estate, business, marketing, or hospitality Customer service, retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred Organized with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Program Qualifications Currently enrolled in college, university, trade school, or recent graduate preferred Ability to commit to the full 10-week summer program Reliable transportation may be required based on assigned location         Qualifications
