Dental Assistant
Join our dedicated dental team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare to our patients. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support our dentists in providing high-quality care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth clinical operation. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental examinations by ensuring they are comfortable and informed about procedures.
- Assist the dentist during exams and treatments by providing instruments, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Create temporary restorations and scan teeth or implants for crowns and cavities.
- Prepare operatories for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup.
- Attend to patient needs during their visit, including providing instructions and addressing concerns.
- Assist with patient dismissal and follow-up procedures to ensure a positive experience.
- Follow through on treatment plans as directed by the dentist and document procedures accurately.
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
- Support administrative tasks as assigned by the Office Administrator to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to health and safety regulations.
