Clinical Assistant

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with patients, physicians, therapists, insurance companies, and referral sources to optimize the equipment needs for clients
  • Obtain necessary documentation and authorizations required for equipment coverage
  • Assist with clinical, sales support, and home transition staff, as necessary
  • Assist customer service staff to coordinate respiratory-related discharges
  • Coordinate RT/Clinician schedules and patient set-ups, answer and route clinical staff/patient communication
  • Schedule clinical staff to optimize workflows
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
  • Pay $23-$25/ DOE

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a caring, personable manner
  • Previous homecare experience is preferred
  • Excellent public relations and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including phone demeanor
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and over 50 lbs occasionally to a height of 36 inches
