POSITION SUMMARY

The Material Handler is responsible for supplying the machine operators with hair, wire and coils and for removing finished product from the department. Heavy lifting required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Supply machine operators with hair, staple wire and coils as needed. 
• Staple boxes and place by machines. 
• Remove filled boxes from machines and place on appropriate skid. 
• Verify correct length of tube, hair, overall brush, and width of metal using a ruler.
• Clearly and correctly fill out all required paperwork.
• Send finished product to warehouse. 
• Requisition materials for department. 
• Assist with cleaning the department. 
• Take trash out to dumpster, recycled materials to appropriate container. 
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

6 plus months experience in Manufacturing.
