Job Description

  Maintenance Assistant Stoughton, Massachusetts   Brookmeadow at Cobb Corner’s caring and compassionate maintenance team members provide a clean and safe environment for our senior residents. Learn more about Brookmeadow at Cobb Corner here.   SCHEDULE: Full Time: 40 hours per week (Tuesday-Saturday either 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm)   PAY & BENEFITS: Rates start at $20 per hour

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
  • Handle service maintenance calls from residents in a timely manner
  • Assist with general daily housekeeping and heavy duty cleaning, assuring that the entire community is kept clean on a consistent basis.
  • Perform ongoing and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with apartment turnover, moving furniture in and out of apartments.
  • Handle snow removal and salt on walkways, sidewalks and entryways, as well as clearing residents vehicles during snowstorms.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Physical requirements: Standing, lifting (up to 30 pounds), bending
  • Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
  • Be on time and reliable – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our team to be reliable at all times.
