• $20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Dr. Running seeks an undergraduate research assistant for laboratory experiments in thermal-fluids measurement techniques for the summer 2026 academic semester.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Make advancements to current thermal-fluid measurement diagnostics
• Report to Dr. Running
• Follow all lab safety rules and exhibit professional conduct
• Work on campus in Upson I 115.

Minimum Requirements

• Excellent Organizational skills
• Sound leadership skills
• Satisfactorily completed ME 306, ME 341, and ME 474.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
