Job Description

About the role

  • Assist the office of marketing and communications with shooting, editing, and producing video projects that capture the atmosphere and energy of Bethel University and promote university departments, offices and programs.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current Bethel student
  • Well organized, highly reliable, able to work independently, and demonstrates attention to details
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • Previous, demonstrated experience with cameras, editing and compositing software is essential
  • Experience with lighting and graphic design skills are preferred

Work Environment:

In person at the Office of Marketing and Communications at the Anderson Center (2 Pine Tree Drive, Arden Hills, MN). Often requries ability to work 'on location' for shoots in a variety of locations (3900 campus, indoors, outdoors, studios, etc.)

Physical Demands:

Time using a screen for up to 2-3 hours at a time.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Expected Hours of Work:

Typically, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.

8-16 hours per week.

Pay Rate:

13.75/hour
