As a Certified Nurse Assistant on our Hospice team in Albuquerque, you'll provide hands-on personal care that brings dignity, comfort, and genuine human connection to patients and families navigating one of life's most significant seasons. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, toileting, and feeding under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Measure and record vital signs as directed, and promptly report changes in patient condition to supervising staff
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent complications
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families throughout the care process
  • Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner in the EMR
  • Support infection control and safety procedures in every care environment
  • Participate in in-service training and continuing education as assigned

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Current certification as a Nurse Aide in the state of New Mexico
  • Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training program
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience preferred; home health or hospice experience is a plus
  • Someone who follows care plans closely, documents with care, and communicates clearly with patients, families, and clinical staff
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance for patient home visits
