Job Description

Description

Pay Range: $16 - $21/hr

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick time, and PTO after 90 days!

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Summary: Responsible for converting raw core and backer stock into cut-to-size blanks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensure the sufficient core, backer, and/or cross-band laminate is available to complete each job that is being processed, an as much as possible, maintain an inventory of standard core, backer and cross-band laminate to meet drop in orders

Prepare backer and core for pressing

Cut panels to finish size as required by customer

Monitor core inventory and communicate requirements to shipping and receiving

Evaluate core and backer options to determine best utilization of raw materials

Cut core and related materials per Board Cut List

Trim finished panels to customer specifications 

Ensure and maintain sharpness and accuracy of given saw

Organize warehouse

Blow-off and lubricate saw (weekly)

Level off dumpster and inform when swap out is needed
