The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands B&P, CCI, Federal Premium, Fiocchi, HEVI-Shot, Remington and Speer. At The Kinetic Group, our interns play a vital role in advancing our mission to deliver high-quality, reliable ammunition to customers worldwide, offering you a unique chance to make a real impact in an industry fueled by precision and passion. 

A marketing intern supports the marketing department by executing campaigns, managing social media, project management, and assisting with content creation and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates are current students or recent graduates in marketing/communications with strong communication, creativity, and digital proficiency to help boost brand awareness and engagement. 

This position reports to the Marketing Director and is based out of our Anoka office.    

What you’ll do:  

• Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and monitor content across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram). 

• Campaign Support: Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and events. 

• Market Research: Analyze competitor products, services, and digital content to identify market trends. 

• Content Creation: Draft copy for blog posts, newsletters, emails, and social media, ensuring brand consistency. 

• Administrative Support: Assist with clerical tasks, including preparing reports, presentations, and maintaining databases 

Experience you bring:  

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for content creation and team collaboration. 

• Digital Skills: Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. 

• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive desire to learn 

Additional Information:    

• Shift: Monday-Friday (8-9 hour) days     

• Summer Internship: May-August

Work Environment:

Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.

Pay Range:

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
