Job Description
UNM Taos Office of Student Affairs is seeking an Assistant Student Resource Navigator to:
· Support student engagement and activities that promote student success;
· Shop, stock, clean and inventory food and hygiene products for (both the Klauer campus and Rio Grande Hall) Thrive: Food and Resource Center and Safety Bins across campuses.
· Outreach to students (in person, via phone/email or social media) on the resources available to them;
· Understand and help students access resources on campus and in the community;
· Research and maintain a current UNMT Resource Guide;
· Host a table at events (campus and community based);
· Help students access benefits or other eligible services;
· Post flyers in the community and at Klauer and Rio Grande Hall. Maintain the bulletin boards in Padre Martinez Hall on Klauer campus;
· Keep records and communication confidential for all students and their relations;
· Answer phones and respond to emails when needed;
· Participate in meetings and other campus activities.

Preferred Qualifications· Enjoy connecting with students and community organizations;
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass driving exam to use UNMT vehicles;
· Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects (up to 50lbs);
· Must have good computer and communication skills;
· Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
