Bulk Environmental & Industrial is a fast-growing leading professional transportation and logistics services company providing long-haul transportation, collection, and loading of waste and other materials. 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Fuel Pump Technician is responsible for greeting and coordinating incoming drivers at fuel stations, pumping diesel, and performing other related duties. They must provide a safe and clean environment for the drivers entering the property. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Checking fluid levels and adding fluid as needed.
• Cleaning vehicle windshields and windows.
• Checking tire pressure and adding air as needed.
• Direct traffic of trucks entering the property.
• Assisting drivers with directions and other services.
• Maintain fueling station clean and free of debris.
• Report any mechanical or maintenance issues with the fuel pump to supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy fuel containers
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Familiarity with health and safety protocols

Physical Demands

This job in a dynamic environment requires being sensitive to change and responsive to changing goals, priorities, and needs. Intermittently balancing, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, lifting, mental acuity, pulling pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity. Also requires heavy work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.

Working Conditions

This job is located primarily in an outdoor environment with varying noise levels. There may be varying degrees of temperature. The employee may be interrupted from time to time.
