Job Description

Caring Friends is Hiring PCA’s/CNA’s/HHA’s  

Pay: $16 Per Hour

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist clients with errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, ambulation, and transfers.  

  • Personal care including dressing, bathing, mobility, incontinence care, and other services  

  • Companionship and friendship for seniors and loved ones  

  • Medication reminders  

  • Communication in daily log of client's health, well-being, and activities  
  • Willing to drive client to and from appointments, and light errands.
 

Successful applicants will meet the following requirements:  

  • Proof of Residency (2 years)
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED  

  • Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, and Reliable Vehicle  

  • Open availability strongly preferred  

  • Submit to Criminal Background Check  

  • Vaccinated from COVID-19, or documentation that you are exempt for religious or medical reasons  

  • Valid Driver's license

  • Properly insured Vehicle

We provide non-medical Home Care, Personal Care, Companionship, and more and we are proud to serve multiple counties in Nebraska. When you contact Caring Friends, you’ll speak with our Intake Coordinator who will take your information and have a Site Coordinator in your area get back in touch with you. Your site coordinator will be happy to discuss your specific needs, desires, and goals-as well as your worries-in detail. Your Caring Friends local Site Coordinator visits your home to meet you and your family, discuss your needs, and answer your questions. We work closely with you and any other family members providing care. We match your loved one with a Caring Friends Caregiver who has the skills to best support them. Your Site Coordinator orients your loved one’s care team to their needs, checks in with you, other family caregivers, and your loved one to see how things are going, and makes regular supervisory visits. We will continually reassess your loved one’s needs and ensure that our caregiver’s training is appropriate should new or additional services be required.
