Job Description

Prosthetic Technician

Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prosthetic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will fabricate and assemble prosthetic devices for both in-house and external customers using established central fabrication processes. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Omega Carvers and other fabrication equipment
  • Fabricate a variety of prosthetic components, including check sockets, laminations, foam covers, and pelite liners
  • Manage orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and adherence to production timelines
  • Follow departmental procedures related to inventory, cleaning, equipment maintenance, and safety
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools (saws, grinders, drills, etc.)
  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs (molds and materials)
  • ABC certification or prior prosthetic technician experience is a plus

Work Environment & Collaboration This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but works closely with fellow technicians, production staff, department leads, and supervisors. Occasional interaction with test participants may be required.
