Job Title: Outbound Quality Control (OQC)

Pay Rate Range: $18.00 - $20.00

Description:
  • Inspect, check, test and package product to required specifications.
  • Pick and pack orders
  • Complete departmental Documentation
  • Calculate total footage for production orders.

Mental Functions:
  • Ability to perform basic math function (add, subtract, multiply and divide) on various units of measures.  -
  • Ability to apply basic math functions to whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to make sound judgment on operational procedures and product quality.
  • Ability to make appropriate decision in regards to problem solving, and product quality.
Physical Functions:
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to see small defects and differentiate colors during in-process quality control procedures.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Requires high manual dexterity and fine motor skills in both hands.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in a manufacturing facility

Physical & Environmental Requirements:
The production environment is typical of many indoor manufacturing facilities. This is a “Safety First” facility P.P.E. gear is mandatory with no exceptions. The noise generated within the facility is moderate but sometimes using certain equipment may require hearing protection. Employees frequently work on or around moving and heated equipment sometimes with extreme temperatures. Must be able to lift, push and pull. Lifting maximum is 55.1lbs at a time.
