Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat's right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Every day, our team works to save the lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:

• Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
• Help shelters transform themselves into safe havens for cats by implementing our life-saving policies and procedures.
• Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.

Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.

By joining Stray Cat Alliance, a community-based cat rescue, you will be making a difference for cats and kittens who otherwise have limited to no options for care. In 2023, we directly served 3,603 cats and kittens, and provided resources and support to another 25,347 cats and kittens through our hotline.

All applicants who are offered employment with Stray Cat Alliance will be subjected to a check of their background either by the Company or a third party vendor. As such, applicants and employees may be subject to a consumer report or investigative consumer report. The Company will review the relevant background information to select and retain the most qualified employees with the end goal of maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This policy applies to the criminal history screening of prospective and current employees.

Stray Cat Alliance will conduct all third party background checks in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), other applicable federal and state laws, and Company procedures.
