Summary:

The Project Coordinator supports the Project Management team in the coordination, organization, and tracking of activities related to new product launches. This role assists with project documentation, scheduling, communication, and administrative tasks to ensure projects remain organized, accurate, and on schedule. The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to help facilitate successful project execution from initiation through first production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports Project Managers in the coordination and administration of new product launch projects
  • Helps monitor project progress and follows up with internal stakeholders on deliverables or information required to keep projects moving forward
  • Assists with gathering and organizing project information from cross-functional teams
  • Coordinates internal meetings and assists Project Managers with preparing meeting agendas, and distributing follow-up notes and action items
  • Helps Project Managers in preparing project status reports, project trackers, and presentations for internal meetings and customer updates
  • Assists with maintaining project documentation and files
  • Supports coordinating line trials by helping organize required materials, documentation, and schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager. With appropriate training, escorts customers to/from Pilots & Line Trials to assure departmental coverage.
  • Provides administrative support to the Project Management team including scheduling, documentation preparation, and internal coordination
  • Supports general coordination activities that help ensure efficient communication and organization across the project management team
  • Maintains confidentiality of customer product information, budgetary information, and other sensitive company information
  • Exhibits regular and predictable attendance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working as part of a team with shared goals and deadlines
  • Experience in a manufacturing, cosmetics, personal care, or regulated environment strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite: FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and OSHA Safety Requirements
  • Skill in: solving problems; prioritizing work to ensure deadlines are met; negotiating effectively with others.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds manually.
  • A climate-controlled office environment; the noise level is usually moderately quiet, however the employee must be able to spend extended periods of time on the production floor where the noise level is usually moderately loud.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer, stand for long periods of time on the production floor, walk, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, crouch, talk, hear, push and pull
  • Exposure to frequent movement of motorized equipment throughout the facility, including electric pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
