BHCOR-Cor Chem Dependency Unit I Corbin, KY
The Detox Recovery Unit is a 15-bed acute medical detox unit for patients with a primary Chemical Dependency diagnosis. The Detox Recovery Unit program specializes in adult detoxification and treatment for ages 18 and older and an interdisciplinary treatment team approach is utilized in caring for patients.
Performs care requires substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical and social sciences in the application of the nursing process. Utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
Description:
The Registered Nurse provides safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering care and physician orders, documenting accurately, educating patients and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes.
