Job Description

Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, Onsite)

Pay: up to $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: Onsite

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (weekends may be required)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to maintain the buildings, common grounds, and overall appearance of the Stonemill Farms community. This role is responsible for routine upkeep, inspections, repairs, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily janitorial duties, including cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and mopping
  • Maintain and upkeep community buildings and common grounds
  • Complete landscaping tasks such as tree trimming and seasonal projects
  • Conduct weekly inspections of homeowner properties
  • Remove snow, manage ice rink areas, and perform seasonal maintenance
  • Install and maintain park/sports equipment and nets
  • Replace light bulbs, maintain mailboxes, and perform minor repairs
  • Pick up trash and ensure cleanliness throughout common areas
  • Assist with setup and teardown for community events
  • Complete painting, staining, and general improvement projects
  • Partner with vendors and report to the Property Manager
  • Ensure parks and amenities meet community safety and quality standards
Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with management and vendors
  • Attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards
  • Customer service mindset and professionalism
  • Experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of basic repairs, supplies management, and equipment upkeep
  • Valid driver’s license required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Combination of indoor and outdoor work (majority outdoors)
  • Must be able to stand, climb ladders, lift, and perform physical tasks
  • Exposure to various weather conditions and environmental elements
