Job Description

The Account Specialist (AS) operates within the centralized Account Specialist Unit of the Risk Solutions practice, assisting across various insurance verticals during client renewals and new business onboarding. During their tenure in the Account Specialist Unit, individuals will receive essential technical and practical training to foster their growth toward a successful and long-term career with the Lockton Midwest Series.

Expected contributions
  • Delivers transactional excellence and provides outstanding customer service in support of the broader client team
  • Conveys standards of excellence in line with Lockton’s operating procedures by adhering to standardized policies, processes, and systems
  • Assists in the renewal and new business process by completing certificates of insurance and preparing auto ID cards for each client
  • Fulfills daily certificate requests as required for each client following Lockton’s quality procedures to ensure compliance
  • Obtains flood determinations as needed for insured locations
  • Delivers workers’ compensation posting notices, as directed by the team, to ensure compliance with states’ rules and regulations
  • Prepares written correspondence and make calls to certificate holders and/or clients as needed, in a timely professional manner
  • Makes a positive contribution to client satisfaction and strives to improve service to the clients
  • Communicates in a professional manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment
  • Protects the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position
  • Handles special projects as assigned
