Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst 1 is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the organization's data analytics and reporting needs under direct supervision. This role focuses on developing foundational Bl skills through hands-on experience creating reports, dashboards, and basic data analysis. The Bl Analyst 1 works closely with senior team members to learn requirements gathering, data modeling, and visualization best practices while delivering standard reporting solutions that support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in documenting processes, creating knowledge base articles, and maintaining team resources.
2. Build relationships with business stakeholders while developing understanding of their processes and needs.
3. Communicate project status and challenges to senior team members in a timely manner.
4. Coordinates with business users who test, validate, and evaluate new applications or functionality and obtains sign-off from the appropriate stakeholder.
5. Create and maintain standard Power Bl dashboards and reports based on defined specifications and templates.
6. Demonstrate initiative in seeking opportunities to learn and expand technical capabilities.
7. Learn and apply Power Bl best practices for data modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization design.
8. Participate in requirements gathering sessions, taking notes and documenting stakeholder needs.
9. Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data.
10. Update existing reports and dashboards with new data sources or minor modifications as directed.
11. Work collaboratively with team members on projects, accepting feedback and incorporating guidance.
Minimum Job Requirements:
1. 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
3. Basic knowledge of SOL for querying relational databases.
4. Internship or academic project experience with Bl tools and SOL is highly valued.
5. Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently when appropriate.

Physical Requirements:
1. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
2. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
