Job Description

Primary Purpose

Responsible for collection of raw ingredients, quality checks, proper receipt of ingredients and placement of raw material into the mill structure. This position is also responsible for receipt of bag ingredients and off-loading any and all delivery trucks to the mill.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Inspect ingredients received and ensure quality.
  2. Unload product in a safe, efficient manner and dump ingredients into proper bins, as needed.
  3. Operate equipment in a safe manner to include a forklift, a skid steer and rail mover.
  4. Operate and monitor all processes and production systems. Keep the work area clean.
  5. Accurately complete assigned reports, logs or documents.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical training in mechanics, computer skills.
  • 0 - 2 years' relevant experience.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift, skid steer and rail mover.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Requires physical strength and dexterity.
  • Working knowledge of computers with a good understanding of Excel.
