We are currently seeking Summer Interns to assist with our TX Litigation Team.

About the Role:

The Summer Intern - Legal Clerk in Creditors' Rights Litigation will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team at S&A Legal Management Services, Inc.. This position offers an immersive experience in the litigation process, including drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and analyzing statutes and case law pertinent to creditors' rights. The intern will contribute to the efficient management of litigation matters by collaborating closely with attorneys and paralegals to ensure all procedural requirements are met. Through this role, the intern will gain practical knowledge of the legal system, enhance their understanding of creditor rights, and develop essential skills in legal writing and analysis. Ultimately, the intern will help facilitate successful case outcomes by providing thorough and accurate legal support throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent Legal Studies, Paralegal or Juris Doctorate program.
  • Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in law.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with court procedures and rules governing civil litigation.
  • Experience drafting legal pleadings and motions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Previous internship or work experience in a litigation or creditors' rights legal setting is nice to have.

Responsibilities:
