Job Description

DUTIES AND TASKS:
· Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
· Check computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
· Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
· Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
· Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
· Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
· Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
· Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
· Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
· Take phone calls and enter helpdesk requests.
· Escalate requests to appropriate teams
· Able to lift and 25lbs
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
· The ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees.
· Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication ability
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
· Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
· Software & hardware maintenance and testing capability.
· Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems.
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
· Customer-service focus.
· Multitasking in a dynamic fast paced high stress environment.
· Hands-on problem-solving ability.
