Job Description

Description

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer relevant treatment to patients
  • Operate and calibrate TMS equipment
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during treatment sessions
  • Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment parameters as needed
  • Assist with appointment scheduling for relevant services
  • Ensure proper paperwork is completed for relevant services
  • Clean, sanitize, and prepare equipment for procedures and/or treatment
  • Stock rooms/office with relevant procedure supplies
  • Position may include limited invasive procedures within scope of education and training   
  • Other duties approved by the supervisor

Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma 

Other Requirements:

  • One or more years of health care experience preferred. However, certain exceptions may be made for specific tech responsibilities based on provider requests and/or needs.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job

Performance Requirements:

Knowledge:

  • Standard office practices, procedures and techniques
  • Insurance requirements, provider referrals, and prior authorizations

Skills:

  • Operating a computer and various software packages
  • Operating a variety of office equipment
  • Creating, organizing and keeping records
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Spelling, vocabulary, math and grammar skills appropriate to the level of the position  

Abilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Maintain a reliable and dependable attendance record
  • Provide effective and responsive service to clinic patients in the office setting

Equipment Operated:

  • Specific equipment for relevant procedures and/or treatments. Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment: 

  • Position is in a well-lit clean office environment, and/or procedure room as required.

Mental/Physical Requirements: 

  • Requirement may differ depending on the procedure and/or treatment performed. Sitting, lifting and standing as needed throughout the day.
