Job Summary

Completion of all the residency program competency areas, educational goals and objectives as defined by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists
Active participant of Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
Develop and complete a major performance improvement or research project under the direction of designated preceptor
Completion of all activities including required and elective rotations and assigned projects
Displays competency in managing weekend and evening shifts involving on-call, clinical and distributive responsibilities

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Licensure/Certification

Licensed (within 3 months of hire) and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy. Memberships: Annual memberships in the Oklahoma Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists are strongly encouraged. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is encouraged during orientation, but required within 3 months of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training/licensure is required within 4 months of hire.

Norman Regional Moore, is a state-of-the-art $32 million dollar healthcare facility in Moore, Oklahoma. Norman Regional Moore houses physician offices, an emergency center that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and a community meeting space. The HealthPlex campus at Interstate 35 and Tecumseh Road, licensed for 168 beds, features Cardiovascular Services, Spine and Orthopedic Surgery, and Women’s and Children’s Services. Norman Regional Health System also provides outpatient diagnostic centers, medical transport services, physician services, centers of excellence, durable medical equipment supplies, a primary care network, community wellness service and employer health services. We have grown to employ more than 2,700 people and have 356 physicians credentialed on the Medical Staff.
