The Registrar manages patient admissions, registrations, discharges, and transfers while accurately collecting demographic and insurance information. They are also responsible for upfront collections and promoting positive guest relations for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
You have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associate's degree and at least one year of experience in a medical or business office setting. You should also possess knowledge of medical terminology and strongly preferred experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance rules and regulations.
