Overview

The Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment across US Conec’s office, manufacturing, and common spaces. This position supports daily operations by ensuring facilities are sanitary, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards while collaborating with operations, facilities, and workplace safety teams.

Shift: M-F 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness across offices, production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces through routine sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface cleaning
  • Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, conference rooms, and high-touch surfaces to support a healthy workplace
  • Collect, separate, and dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with facility procedures
  • Monitor and restock consumable supplies, including paper products, soap, and sanitation materials
  • Clean windows, walls, fixtures, and other surfaces as needed to maintain a professional appearance
  • Support safe manufacturing and warehouse operations by maintaining orderly and hazard-free work areas
  • Follow established safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and required PPE
  • Identify and report maintenance, safety, or facility issues such as spills, damage, or equipment concerns
  • Assist with room setup and post-event cleanup for meetings or special events as needed

Must Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of custodial cleaning methods, tools, and equipment
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and workplace standards

Nice to Haves

  • Prior custodial, janitorial, or facilities cleaning experience in an office or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a regulated or safety-focused workplace
  • Familiarity with proper handling of cleaning chemicals and supplies
